On Monday night about eleven o'clock Mrs. Charles Adams of this village was found dead in one of the back rooms of the house. At this writing we are unable to give full particulars further than that an inquest is now being held at the town hall, Esq. William not feeling satisfied with the evidence has ordered a post-mortum examination which will take place this Tuesday afternoon.

Died at her home in Darien, Monday January 14, at 11:p.m., Mrs. Carrie Adams aged 38 years. Mrs. Carrie Bloss was born at Burlington, Apanoose Co., Iowa July 3rd, 1850 and was married to Charles Adams at Harmony, Wisconsin, January 1, 1873. Mrs. Adams had been in her usual health all day and while still performing her household tasks dropped dead. Every means for restorying her were resorted to but the spirit had taken its everylasting flight. She leaves husband, one sister and five small children to mourn her untimely death. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their afflication. Funeral services were held from the house January 16, 2:p.m. Rev Hobbs preaching the discourse from the following words: "Like as a father pitieth his children so the Lord pitieth them that fear him."
