Tina Lee Stephens, age 86, of Grace Manor Apartments, Russell Springs, died Sunday, October 28, 1990, at the Russell County Hospital, following a 'long illness.


Bom September 27,1904, in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Ella Smith McGowan, and the widow of Hebrotis Stephens.


Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church.


Survivors include three daughters, Geneva Wilson, Weldon, Illinois, Hester Walker, Greenwood, Indiana, and Wanda Sparks, Hodgensville, Ky.; two sons, Eugene Stephens, Indianapolis, Indiana and Arlin "Bunk" Stephens; three brothers, Ezra and Ova McGowan, both of Jabez, and Leon McGowan, Indianapolis, Indiana; five sisters, Mary Polston, Jabez, Beatrice Stephens, Russell Springs, Flonnie Polston, Gertrude Polston and Gracie Smith, all of Somerset; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.


The funeral was Wednesday, October 31, 1990, 10 a.m. at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. David Coffey and Bro. Oda Smith officiating.


Pallbearers were Marshall Wilson, Gordon Wilson, Rick Stephens, Wally Sparks, Michael Sparks, Steve Daughtery, Gerald Stephens and Darian Rocks.


Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
