She was a former employee of Campbell Soup Company.
Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, and going to Las Vegas. She also loved her grandchildren and lived to see the birth of her first great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John M. Stroud, and her sister, Shirley Jahns.
She is survived by her children, Linda A. (Eric) Ruple, Duane E. (Linda) Stroud, Pamela A. Mohler and Jack C. (Christy) Stroud; 7 grandchildren, Rachel Spitulski, Erica Ruple, Jacob Mohler, Sarah Ruple, Kristin Stroud, John Stroud, Josh Stroud; 1 great-grandchild, Mikayla Marilyn Spitulski; siblings, Beverly Whitney, Carol Leedy, Nancy LaDuke, Elene (Dean) West, Willard W. (Judy) Hanna, James G. Hanna, and Patricia Cutcher.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Maumee.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
