Born Near Ellinwood, He Had Lived in This Section All His Life

John Barngrover, 61, died early Saturday morning at his home here. He had been ill with paralysis and heart disease for the last two years.

Born February 3, 1874 near Ellinwood. Mr. Barngrover had been a resident of this section of his life. He moved to Larned from the Radium community about 15 years ago.

He is survived by his widow and four daughters, Mrs. Claude Douglas of Ray, Mrs. Charles Williamson of Larned, Mrs. Leslie Curry of Great Bend, and Mrs. Ed Farlow of Kinsely.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Vernon Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. H. L. Shook. Burials was in the Larned cemetery."
