Mrs. Maud Riedinger, 65, wife of Frank Riedinger of Main St., Hackettstown, died yesterday at Newton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Hackettstown, she was a daughter of the late James and Marietta Hendershot Swayze.
Mrs. Riedinger was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hackettstown. She also was a member of the ladies auxiliary of Blue Ridge Post, American Legion of Hackettstown, and of the Hackettstown Chapter GAR.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Vincent, of Hackettstown; three daughters, Mrs. Belie Bocchino of Dover; Mrs. Hellen Keggan of Stephensburg, and Miss Marie Riedinger, at home; a brother, Jason Swayze; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Wipi of Wilmington, Del., Mrs.Elizabeth Kastner, Reading,Pa., and Mrs. Allie Cutsler of Phillipsburg; five grandchildren,and one great grandchild.
