ROGER ALLEN MACE, age 62 of Ferndale, went to be with the Lord August 5, 2009. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he served as a Corpsman in Vietnam. He married his beloved wife Sally on September 2, 1972 in Garden City. He worked 15 years for the Ferndale School District, retiring as the Head Boiler Operator. H leaves behind his loving sons Jason (Karen) and Justin (Jennifer); grandchildren Logan, Laura and Thomas; and sister Kathy Wherry. He was preceded in death by his sister Emdetta Montgomery.
