STAMFORD, March 17, (RNS) -
J.E. Mounce, 76, died of illness Monday afternoon at his home in Santa Anna, Calif.
The body is to be brought here, and will lie in state at Kinney Funeral Home until 1 a.m. Friday, when graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Mounce was born August 20, 1871, in Gainesville. He lived in Stamford a number of years, moving from here to Oklahoma City. He went from Oklahoma City to California seven years ago. His wife died in Stamford in March, 1927.
Survivors are two sons, James and Bill, two daughters, Winnie and Betty, four grandchildren, and a sister, Florence Stevenson of Gainesville.
