EMERY STARKEY, 88, OF LAS VEGAS,formerly of Shepherd, Mich., and St. Albans, W.Va., died March 27, 1995, at a Las Vegas hospice after a long illness. He was a native of Wetzel County, W.Wa., and was retired from Long and Wetzel Oil Co., Mount Pleasant, Mich. Surviving: sons, Orville of Lansing, Mich, Cameron of Reed City, Mich., Olin of Dade City, Fla., Fred of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; daughter, Madeline Ferguson of Brooksville, Fla.; stepdaughters, Lola Lively of South Charleston, Sibyle Murray of Manchester Ky.; brother Bill of Mount Pleasant; sisters, Chloe Pedro of Harrison, Mich., Gearldine of Rust of Nitro, W.Va. ; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held in Shepherd at a later date. Burial will be in Kelly Cemetery, Oil City, Mich. Desert Memorial Crematorium Burial Society, Las Vegas, is in charge of arrangements
