George Spomer died early Saturday morning at a local hospital where he had been a patient for nine months.
Born in Russia July 20, 1885, he came to the US when he was 2 years old. A resident of the Billings and Laurel areas for 20 years he lived most of his later life in Great Falls.
He was employed as a farm laborer. On Jan 1, 1905, he married Christina Marie Davis in Denver. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors are the widow, 8 children, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
