Bamberg, May 19- Mrs Hattie Wiggins died at her home in this city Tuesday evening at about 7:30, having been ill only a few minutes. She was taken ill while sitting on her front porch and was removed quickly to her bed where she died a few minutes after. She is survived by two sons, Willie Wiggins [William Mouzon Wiggins] of Macon, Ga, and Charlie Wiggins of Savannah, and one daughter, Miss Louise Wiggins of Bamberg. She is also survived by two brothers, C R Brabham, Sr of Bamberg and C H Brabham of Olar, and one sister, Mrs Julia Brabham of Cope. Her husband, Thomas Wiggins, preceded her to the grave about ten years ago.

Mrs Wiggins before her marriage was Miss Hattie Brabham, being a member of one of Bamberg's most prominent families. She was 52 years of age and had lived in Bamberg the greater part of her life. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church here and her pastor, the Rev S O Cantey, had charge of the funeral ceremony here this morning at her late home, after which the funeral party took the remains to Barnwell where they were laid by those of her late husband and one child.

Mrs Wiggins will be missed in Bamberg. She was a loving mother, a high toned Christian woman and a most excellent neighbor. She numbered her friends by her acquaintances, who will be sorely grieved to learn of her death.
