Anderson Higbee, was the son of Joseph Higbee and Sarah Anderson, daughter of Robert Anderson and Frances Poindexter.
Obituary - Died, December the 10th, 1900. Sallie A. Reed, aged 71 years, 1 month, and 9 days. Deceased was born in Fayette county, Ky., November 1, 1829. She was one of the early settlers, having come to Missouri some fifty years ago. She was loved by all who knew her as she was always ready to help and sympathize with those around her. In her death her children lose a kind and loving parent, but their loss is her gain, as she has been a constant sufferer for several years. Bearing her cross with true Christian fortitude, submitting always the will of her heavenly master. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wallace, after which the body was laid to rest in the Richland cemetery.
