RICHTON - Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Independent Gospel Church in Greene County for Hugie Walley, 59, of Richton, who died Aug. 20, 2009, at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial is in Union Cemetery in Greene County.
Mr. Walley was a route salesman for Pepsi Corp. and a member of Bethel Independent Gospel Church. He was a volunteer more more than 10 years at the Cancer Center, logging more than 6,370 hours.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Gertrude Walley.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Walley of Richton; four sons, Gene Russell and Kevin Russell, both of Richton, Tim Russell of Bossier City, La., and Sam Walley of Trinidad, Colo.; two daughters, Melinda Easterling and Tina Newell, both of Richton; four sisters, Elaine Byrd, Glenda Miller and Berniece Walley, all of Richton, and Virginia Brewer of Moss Point; six brothers, Marion O. Walley of Oak Grove, and Cecil Walley Jr., Elvin Walley, Hubert R. Walley, Russell Walley and Steve Walley, all of Richton; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today and run all night at the church.
