Peter Warner was born 25 Nov 1844 in Breckenridge, Caldwell County, Missouri, and died 29 Jan 1931 in Ringwood, Major County, Oklahoma. His parents was Lorenzo Dow Warner(1808-1863) and Charity Lent Warner (1807-1883). Peter was a farmer most of his life but had served in the Union Army from 1862 to 1865 during the Civil War. In 1867 he was hired out to guard and move supplies for a man freighting government supplies to forts in Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming. On Feb. 21, 1869 in Daviess County, Missouri he married Eunice Ardella Severe (1849-1899) and their children were: Leona Florence, James Beldon, Charity Gertrude, Mary Evalina, Laurel, John Davis, Clovis Elmer, Emma Grace, and Charles Sumner. After his first wife died, Peter married again in 1906 to Carrie Lymedia Templeton Nippert Warner who had a son George Nippert who joined he family.
