The firm of Myers Brothers was founded by Albert and Louis Meyers when he was still in school. When he reached majority age, he was taken into the firm in 1892 as a full partner. He had a jovial nature and was an optimist.
Funeral services held at the residence, Williams boulevard. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. He was survived by his wife, Reca Katzenstein Myers, and brothers Albert and Louis, two sons and one daughter, and a sister Mrs. Jules Straus. - IL State Journal, Springfield, IL, 8-14-1933
