Ruby M. Grover, 88, 512 3rd Ave. S., Moorhead, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, in Innovis Hospital, Fargo.

Ruby Mildred Alm was born March 5, 1913, in Binford N.D., where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1930. She moved in 1933 to Fargo, where she worked as a waitress and attended Dakota Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper for American State Bank, Moorhead, until 1945, when she became deputy clerk of the federal circuit court in North Dakota. She married Gerald A. Grover May 27, 1950, in Moorhead. They farmed near Moorhead until 1979. They retired to Big Twin Lake near Frazee, Minn., in 1985. He died in 1985, and she then returned to Moorhead.

She is survived by a son, Ralph (Barb), Moorhead; a daughter, Alene (Steven) Sladky, Walker, Minn.; a sister, Helen Knapp, Jamestown, N.D.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation: Wednesday from 4-6 in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, and one hour before the funeral in the church. Funeral: Thursday at 11 in Concordia Lutheran Church near Glyndon, Minn. Burial: Concordia Lutheran Church Cemetery.
