Funeral services were held in the Jermyn United Methodist Church for Harry E. Ware, 78, a long-time resident of Jack and Young Counties, who died Saturday afternoon in a Ft. Worth hospital. He was the brother of Mrs. Alma Blount. Rev J. Lester Davenport of Olney officiated, and Rev. Tom Price, pastor, assisted.

Ware, a retired railroad agent at Olney for the Gulf-Texas and Western Railroad, was born in Wise County, March 5, 1890. He came with his parents to Jack County.

Other survivors include a son, Jack Ware of Washington, D. C., three brothers, Coy Ware of Jermyn, Fred H. Ware of Graham and George W. Ware of Ft Worth; another sister, Mrs. W. B. Wells of Weatherford, and four grandchildren.
