WALTER CLARK DIES TUESDAY
Walter R. Clark, 73, longtime resident of Lucas County, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening at Lucas County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for one day.
He was an employee of Gross-Galesburg for several years, retiring in 1962.
Surviving are his wife, Florence of Chariton; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Sheldon of Iowa City; two granddaughters, Mrs. Mary Tuttle of Chariton and Rose Greeley of St. Joseph, Mich.; two grandsons, Jim Greeley, of Chariton and Donald Crow of Iowa City; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. James Krapf conducting. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery.
