Services for Charles W Terrell, 76, prominent retired farmer of the Lynchburg community, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the K K Davis funeral home in Lynchburg. Rev Kenneth Santee, of Martinsville, officiated, and burial was at Martinsville. He died Friday night at Clinton Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Aug 3. He was born Aug 4, 1878 near Martinsville, the son of Benjamin and Asenath Terrell, and spent his entire life in the Martinsville and Lynchburg communities. He was a member of the Martinsville Friends Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs Florence Morrow Terrell; two daughters, Mrs Asenath Kosewick of Luckey, and Mrs Esther Hubbard of Columbus; three sons, C Warren of Martinsville, Owen of Argentia, Newfoundland, and Roger N Terrell of Miami Beach, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.
