Born in Timpson, on March 5, 1922, Oneita Muckleroy was the daugther of the late Otis and Clara (Crump) Rhodes. She was a graduate of Timpson High School and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Timpson. She loved to play the piano and guitar and sign gospel music.
Oneita is survived by her husband of 45 years Gene Muckleroy of Timpson; brother Darrell Rhodes of Timpson; granddaughter Tonya Rhodes Brock of Stedman, NC. great grandchildren Joseph Turlington, David Young and Kyleen Hunter.
In addidtion to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Oneil Rhodes and his wife Betty Sue and nephews Bubba, Roger, and Curly Rhodes.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Friday, August 21, 2009 at Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson
