Orville Humphries Jr., 77, formerly of East Second Street, Maysville, died at 12:15 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the widower of Mary Lena Schumate Humphries who died Sept. 10, 2001.
Mr. Humphries was a self-employed plumber. He also had worked at one time for the Maysville Utility Commission (Water Co.), and at one time for McNutt's Plumbing.
He was born in Maysville on July 31, 1926, to the late William Steven Humphries and Bertha Combess Humphries.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Eugene Humphries who died Sept. 20, 1950; a daughter, Linda Humphries who died Aug. 13, 1949; and a brother, William Wendell Humphries who died Jan. 16, 1993.
