The funeral services for Richard Christian was held at the Church of the Discipies yesterday morning at 10:30. Fifty school children who had been Richards's mates were disposed in the front pews to the right and left of the pulpit. Bearing the casket to thevestibule of the church were ByronRunkle, Ralph Miller, Howard Havron, Clifford Gephart, Robert Lockenour and Dale Isley. A dozen boys brought in the many flowers thathad been sent by sympathetic freinds of the family.
After the seating of the familythe organist, Mrs. Owen Breeding commenced a beautiful prelude, Then Mrs. Howard Mutz and Miss Katherine Mutz sang "Safe in the arms of Jesus" with sweetness and unction. A seripture from Revelation and a brief prayer were uttered by the minister, Mr.Pearcy. Another hymn,"Jesus savior polit me", was then song A brief discourse followed, the incident that were most significant in the passing of the lad to the great beyond,and the outstanding characteristic of noble patience were emphasized.Then by request of the mother, Mrs. Arthur Carter read with impressive understanding that confronting elegy of James
