Mrs. Pearl was a graduate of Waterville High School, class of 1946.
She was a homemaker for most of her life, but had been employed for several years at White Cloud Laundry, Parents Pharmacy and Keyes Fiber.
Mrs. Pearl was a past president of the Eagles Aerie No. 3137 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold L. Pearl; a daughter, Barbara St. Amand; and a sister, Lucille Irene Caron.
Mrs. Pearl is survived by her son, John P. Pearl and his wife, Emily, of Augusta; a daughter, Diana Leavitt and her husband, Leroy, of Gardiner; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
There will be no public visiting hours. A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. today at the old Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta, where Deacon Dean Lachance will offer committal prayers. (Morning Sentinel 8/29/2009)
