MRS. RIEMERSMA DIES AT HOSPERS

Mrs. Wiebe Riemersma of the Hospers vacinity was stricken with paralysis Monday and passed on at her home early Wednesday morning. Mrs. Riemersma was 61 years of age and is survived by her husband and adopted son and by eight brothers and sisters-Mrs. Herman Scholten, Mrs. Jane Slothouber, Mrs. Dick DeGraaf of Alton, Walter, Ed and John Den Hartog of Hospers, James and Herman Den Hartog of Sheldon. Mrs. Riemersma is the third member of the Den Hartog family to pass away within the last two years. Funeral arrangements have not been made as this is written.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wiebe Riemersma will be held Saturday afternoon at the Hospers Reformed Church.

Born August 23, 1876 at Pella, Iowa, died June 30, 1937, age 61 years and 10 months, at her home 1 mile east of Hospers. Her marriage to W. Riemersma occured when she was 21 years of age and the couple had been married 40 years at the time of Mrs. Riemersma's death. Surviving are her husband, a son, Wilbur Riemersma, and her daughter-in-law: and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Jane Slothouber, Alton; Mrs. Dick Den Hartog, Orange City; Herman Den Hartog, Sanborn: Mrs. Herman Scholten, Mrs. Dick DeGraaf, Alton; John Den Hartog, Hospers; Jim Den Hartog, Sheldon; Walter and Edward Den Hartog, Hospers. Two sisters preceded her in death, Maggie Solsma and Mrs. Ida Vos, and one brother, Dim Den Hartog.

Funeral services were held at Hospers Reformed church in charge of Rev. Docktor, on Saturday, July 3rd, and internment was in the Hospers cemetery. Her brothers were pallbearers.
