HOWARD Y. CLARKE , JR., 71, of Memphis, retired operation engineer, died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 13 and funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. He was an Army Paratrooper who served with the 82nd Battalion during the Korean War. Mr. Clarke is survived by two daughters, Sheila Freeze of Coldwater, MS and Teresa Eddy of Chandler, AZ; a son, Howard "Yandy" Clarke , III of Nappanee, IN; his mother, Eula Clarke of Oakland, TN; a brother, Edwin Clarke of Memphis, TN; nine grandchildren: Jason, Bradley, Wesley, Josh, Mikia, Shenyel, Aubri, Alan and Brandie; and a great-granddaughter, Paris.
