Benjamin F. Breckenridge was born Nov. 11, 1840, and married, June 4, 1863, Mary, daughter of George Arnold. He lived on the Blackwell farm for a time, then removed to Kipton where he carried on the store. He died Dec. 21, 1917. He had no children, but adopted a daughter, Georgia [Gibbs].
