She was born March 11, 1936, in Henry County, Ky., the daughter of Newton and Rhelda Raisor Clubb. She owned and operated Ma & Pa's Diner in Vevay for several years and also worked at the U.S. Shoe Corp. in Vevay. She enjoyed working with flowers and in her garden.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhelda Sue Beickman of New Albany; one son, Glenn Ashby of New Albany; four sisters, Shirley Lock of Madison, Virginia Boone of Vevay, Mable Patterson of Hanover and Caroline Otter of Madison; two brothers, Junior Clubb of Columbus and Elmo Clubb of Madison; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hay; her parents; four sisters, Hazel Thevenow, Edith Reed, Wanda Law and Marilyn Clubb; and four brothers, Gayle, Bart, Charlie and Boyd Clubb.
The funeral was at Vail-Holt Funeral Homes Hanover Chapel. Burial was in Brooksburg Cemetery.
