Theodore Boettler died suddenly at 9 o'clock Wednesday evening, February 13, at his home in Twentymile park. He had been feeling as well as usual during the day and ate a hearty supper. He was sitting in a chair at his home where he lives with his brother, Ben. Ben noticed that Theo was ill and went to the house of another brother, Levi Boettler, about 30 feet away, to have him come over. When the two men returned they found Theodore dead, still seated in the chair, as if he had fallen asleep. The body was brought to Steamboat Springs the same night by A. W. Heyer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church.

Theordore Boettler was a pioneer of Routt county, coming to this section 50 years ago. There are nine brothers and sisters surviving in an addition to the two brothers in Twentymile park. A brother lives at Florence, Colo., and the others are in different states. He was 76 years of age.
