Funeral services for Levi BOETTLER will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church with the Rev. George BURNWORTH officiating. Burial will be in the Steamboat cemetery.

Mr. BOETTLER, for many years a resident of Routt county, died unexpectedly at his home in Grand Junction yesterday morning.

He is survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters. Mr. BOETTLER visited here at Thanksgiving time when one of his daughters was married to Bob BOWMAN.

Mr. BOETTLER resided in Twentymile park for many years. He later went to California and several years ago moved to Grand Junction to make his home.

Mrs. BOETTLER is a sister of Mrs. Auburn LUEKENS and Mrs. Vaden PRATT of Steamboat and Alva WEST of Granby.

Funeral service for Levi Val BOETTLER were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church here with the Rev. George BURNWORTH in charge. Burial was in the Steamboat cemetery.

Mr. BOETTLER died Dec. 28 at Grand Junction, Colo., of a heart attack. He had suffered a heart condition for several months but was not crictically ill until a few hours before his death.

Mr. BOETTLER was born Sept. 18, 1884, at Chillocothe, Mo. He lived there until 1982 [sic] when he moved with his family to Hennesey [sic], Okla. In 1909 he came to Routt county and joined his two brothers, Theodore and Benjamin, and homesteaded in Twentymile park. He ranched there until 1944 when he retired and moved to Riverside, Calif., with his wife and two daughters. He moved to Grand Junction in 1951.

He was married to Hazel WEST in November, 1917. In addition to his widow, he is urvived [sic] by four children, Wallace West BOETTLER of Oak Creek, Alva Donald BOETTLER of Granby, Luella May BERRY of Oakland, Calif., and Mary Katherine BOWMAN of Grand Junction.

Pallbearers were Reno BRUCHEZ, Robert NOYCE, R. W. PADGETT, Val BRUNNER, Ralph HUDSPETH and Clarence LIGHT. "Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown" and "In the Garden" were the hymns sung by Ben GILBERT accompanied by Mrs. GILBERT.
