Sue was Susannah Locklier, daughter of Levi Turner Locklier & Sophie Jane [McLean] Locklier.

Funeral services for Mrs. S. A. Arledge, 77, widow of Charlie H. Arledge, who died at 11:30 Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alex Perry of 1045 Church street after an illness of several months, will be held at 4 o’clock this afternoon from the Southside Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. L. W. Corder. Interment will be in the Sandy Level Baptist church cemetery at Blythewood.

Active pallbearers will be six grandsons, O’Dell Arledge, Otis Sims, Bobby Hawkins, Warren Coleman, Marvin Coleman and Joseph Barfield.

Honorary pallbearers will be the board of deacons of the Southside Baptist church.

Active pallbearers will meet at the Dunbar Funeral home at 3:30 this afternoon and honorary pallbearers will meet at the church at 4 o’clock.
