After his father died, John & Barbara (Fried) Biehn (Bean) took all their children with their spouses and a number of other families in 9 covered wagon teams to what they started as Doon, Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada. From what I have learned Doon merged with Kitchener. I have yet to find out if this is false. it if is then I will make proper corrections.
John Biehn and Dilman Kinzie (Kinsey) agreed to set aside some land for a cemetery. This is how it started.
To quote Allan Dettweiler "The Kinzie-Biehn Cemetery was also known as the Kinsey Bean Pioneer Cemetery. Immediately beside it is the Doon Presbyterian Cemetery."
