Mrs. Griese, 76, Ripon Woman Dies
Ripon - Mrs. Herman Griese, 76, Rt. 1, Ripon, died at Ripon Municipal Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Monday following a lingering illness. She was born October 9, 1878, in the Town of Ripon, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kobernik. She had resided in the Town of Brookly, Brandon and, for the past 44 years, in the Town of Metomen. Mrs. Griese was married to Herman Griese April 17, 1901, at Ripon. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. William Rueckert and Miss Allma Griese, both of Ripon; two grandchildren; one brother, Herman Kobernik, Green Lake, and six sisters, Mrs. Herman Diebert, Green Lake; Mrs. Adolph Hilke, Mrs August Hilke, Mrs. Ernest Timm, Mrs. Fred Denzin and Mrs. Paul Miller, all of Ripon. She was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and a great-grandson in addition to her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon, with the Rev. Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Burial will be in the Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Friends may call at the Butzin Funerarl Home after 6 o'clock this evening until 11 a.m. Thursday ant thereafter at the church
