Mrs. Amelia Gery (nee Bittenbender), wife of Charles D. Gery, died of a complication of diseases, at the home of her son-in-law, J. H. Mostella, in Reading, Friday, aged 61 years. She had been ailing several months and was bedfast two weeks. Deceased was born in Hereford township and lived in Reading six years. Besides her husband, these children survive: Calvin S., Reading; John B., Allentown; Ida, wife of J. H. Mostella. A brother, John Bittenbender, of New Berlinville, and two sisters, Mrs. D. R. Bechtel, Huff's Church, and Mrs. J. W. Shankweiler, Reading, also remain. Deceased was a member of Huff's Reformed Church.
