Abraham the son of Adam Wagner, Jr. and Martha Magdalena Ritter and the spouse of Savina Tittle. He enlisted as a Private in Company D of the 74th Pennsylvania Volunteer infantry, enlisting at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on March 8, 1865. He was rapidly promoted to Sergeant, mustering out on August 29, 1865. He was a member of GAR.
