Mrs John Dunn Dies Suddenly, Thursday
Mrs Stacy Dunn, wife of John Dunn of this place, died suddenly at her home at an early hour Thursday morning. Mrs Dunn had been critically ill for several days, suffering from high blood pressure and a heart ailment. At about 2 a.m. she told her husband she was resting well and urged him to retire. When Mr Dunn returned to her bedside about 5 a.m. he found her dead. Deceased was 58 years of age. The greater part of her life was spent in the vicinity of Henderson, Baxter County. She and her husband moved to Calico Rock five years ago. Mrs Dunn was one of this community's most highly respected women and her death is deeply regretted by a host of friends. She is survived by her husband; two brothers, Zack Laughary of Wichita, Kansas and Newton Laughary of Forsythe, Mo., besides other relatives. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Hand, interment to be in the Hand Cemetery.
