Son of Isaac and Easter McElroy Bogan. Charles Cotesworth Pickney Bogan and Martha Ann Parham Bogan were the parents to seven known children. They are, in birth order, Isaac Christopher Bogan, b 09 Sept 1823 and died 06 June 1879; Benjamin Gains Garius Bogan, b 1826 and died at Elmira, New York 09 Dec 1864 in a Union Prision or killed on a battlefield; Robert Francis Bogan, b 30 march 1828 and died 1894; Dr. Charles Pickney Bogan, b 23 June 1830 and died 18 July 1910 in Rosalie, Red River Co, Texas (Great-Grandfather to my wife); Martha Ann Mary Bogan, b 01 July 1833 and died 17 July 1868; Paschal Parham Bogan (P.P. or 'Pack'), b 25 Nov 1835 and died 07 Mar 1908 in Hazel Valley, Washington Co, Arkansas; John Franklin Bogan, b 18 Nov 1840 and died 16 Apr 1875. Those not indicated as dying elsewhere are belived to have died in or around Bogansville, Union Co, SC. (Great-Great-Grandparents to my wife).
