Mrs. Lula J. Ackerman, 78, widow of D.P Ackerman, died at 2:15 Thursday morning, at the home of her son, Arthur Macumber, South Oxford. The deceased formerly lived at 14 1/2 Gold Street until two months ago when she went to reside with her son.
Besides the son above named, she leaves another son, William of South Plymouth, two sisters, Mrs. Susan Herrick of Oxford, Mrs. Alta Campbell of Johnson City.
Services are to be held at the Breese Funeral Home at 3:30 Saturday afternoon, Rev. L.S. Charters officiating, with burial in Mt. Hope. (Published in the Norwich Sun Thursday, May 19, 1938)-Father was Samuel Daxey.
