Joshua worked hard as a farm laborer most of his life. He married Ann/Nanncy Highmore abt. 1833. The couple had eight children; one dying after three years. All were born in Gilcrux, except their oldest daughter Margaret, who was an ancestor on my mother's side. As far as I know, she was the only one of their children to come to the US. Some of Joshua and Ann's grandhildren did visit the US.
