Funeral services for Mrs.Lou Ada Boddy, who died March 27th, were held Monday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m. in the Burke-Jones Chapel with Rev. W.E. Ward and Rev. Brady Hilburn officiating. Burial was in the Boiling Springs Cemetery with Burke-Jones Funeral Home in charge. Mrs.Boddy was born January 31,1887, in Coves, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband, John G. Boddy; three daughters, Mrs.Howard Price, Mrs. Johnny Fazekas, and Mrs. Ernest Doshier, all of Wilburton; two sons, Charley Boddy, Wilburton and James Boddy, Norman. Also two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Morton, Pryor, and Mrs. Ida Bell Yarborough, Salina; two brothers, Albert Dobbs, Bakersfield, California, and Jeff Dobbs, Fillmore, California; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Norman Price, Gorman Price, Frankie Fazekas, Raymond Boddy, Herman Boddy, and Kenny Doshier.
