Mr. Dye was a school bus driver for 13 years and served as Mason County Commissioner for eight years. He was re-elected as a commissioner for precinct 4 for another term which began 1 January 1979. He was a Methodist and member of the Masonic Lodge. Survived by his wife; one son; one daughter; two brothers - Richard Dye, Herbert Dye; two grandchildren.
