Elmer L. Paulsen, 73, of New Holstein, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, Dec. 19, 1993 at Chilton Medical Center, Chilton.
He was born April 16, 1920 in the town of New Holstein, son of the late Rudolph and Minnie Arens Paulsen. He attended New Holstein High School and graduated in 1938.
On Dec. 30, 1944, he married Ivy Mae Greve at St. John UCC, New Holstein. He worked for the former Arps Corporation, New Holstein, for 37 years until retiring.
He was a member of St. John UCC, New Holstein, the church council for four years, New Holstein Cemetery Association, New Holstein Senior Citizens, Senior bowling league, New Holstein, and a member of the Equitable Reserve Association Assembly #397.
Survivors include his wife, Ivy Mae, New Holstein; one brother, Milton (Olive) Paulsen, LaCrosse; one sister, Rola Franson, New Holstein; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Paulsen, Sun City, Ariz. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Norman.
Funeral services will be at St. John UCC with the Rev. Albert K. Borns, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the New Holstein City Cemetery.
