MANTI--Rachel Ann Jones,68, Manti, died Tuesday of natural causes at a sister's residence in St. George, Utah. She was born March 28, 1906 in Maeser, Uintah, Utah, to Isaac Morley and Anne Elizabeth Starkie Jones.

She grew up in Maeser and went to Maeser District School and went to some High School in Vernal. Her folks moved to Manti, and she completed her schooling there.She was an active member of the LDS Church. She cooked at the Manti Temple for many a year and went on a mission to Roanoke, Virginia.

Survivors: brothers, sisters, Morley Jones, Murray; Allen Jones, Vernal; Warren Jones, Fountain Green; Howard Jones, Richfield; Albert Jones, Price; Mrs. Owen (Mabel) Bartlett, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Fred (Olive) Weyerman, Weston, Idaho; Mrs. Paul (Mary) Wilson, Mrs. Lucy Wilson both of St. George.

Funeral Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Manti Center LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 12:30 p.m. until services. Burial was in the Manti Cemetery.
