Frank was the son of Joseph Herd Roberts and Sophronia Cook Roberts. His obituary is as follows:

FRANCIS B. ROBERTS A PNEUMONIA VICTIM

Francis B. Roberts, 76, died Wednesday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock at his residence in Austinville after a four weeks illness with pneumonia. Mr. Roberts had been a resident of Austinville for the past forty years and for the past 22 years had operated a store there. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Austinville Methodist Church by Revs. H. E. Weston and T. H. Wilson.

Interment will be made at city cemetery, Brown directing. Pallbearers will be: Luther Turner, Elmer Bussey, S. H. Bradley, Forrest McCluskey, R. H. Templeton and W. O. Bice. Members of the Sunday school class will be honorary pallbearers and members of the W.B.C.S. will handle the flowers.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife; one brother, G. W. Roberts, Danville; one sister, Mrs. Lou Roberts, Austinville; five grandchildren, Mrs. I. M. Bell, Brighton, Ala; Mrs. O. A. Templeton, Decatur; Mrs. Herman Woodall, Austinville; L. H. Stewart, Ensley, Ala.; F. B. Stewart, U. S. Army, and two great grandchildren, Douglas and Allie Marie Bell.
