Mrs. Elizabeth Sahr, 78, Genola, died Thursday at her home there. She was born at Genola, and had lived at Hillman area before going to Genola four years ago after the death of her husband. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Peter and Leo, Genola; Nick, Little Falls; August, Cohasset; Roman, Grand Rapids; Reinhard, Hillman; Arthur, Courtland; Mrs. Gust Valentine (Margaret), Little Falls; Mrs. Roy Hershey (Helen), Cushing; Mrs. Peter Held (Marie) and Mrs. John Hebler (Regina), Hillman. Brothers and sisters are Peter and Jake Brausen, Genola; Henry Brausen, Idaho; Mrs. Eva Weiling, Benicia, Calif.; Mrs. Anna Adams, Little Falls; Mrs. Ed Vogtlin, Hillman and Mrs. Louis Brummer, Onamia. There are 35 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Rita's church in Hillman, the Rev. Lucking officiating. Friends may call until the funeral hour at the Virnig Funeral home in Pierz.
