Vera Swenson, age 82, died on July 18, 1991 in Salt Lake City.
Born May 18, 1909 in Salt Lake City to Robert and Eliza May Seal Alexander. Married Rulon Fielding Swenson October 23, 1928 in Logan, Utah. She played with the Happy-Go-Luckies Senior Citizens Harmonica Band, enjoyed bowling. She was an excellent seamstress.
Survived by husband, Salt Lake City; daughters, Doris E. Rogers, Beaverton, Oregon; Lynne A. Whitt, Murray; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Grokett, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by son, John Rulon Swenson.
Funeral Tuesday, 12 noon, at the Lee Ward, 3219 South 300 East. Friends may call Monday, from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Tuesday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
