Funeral services for Christian Phillip Jochimsen, 80, retired owner of a general mercantile business, will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Pierce Bros Chapel, 720 W. Washington Blvd., interment to follow in Rosedale Cemtery. A resident here for 27 years, he died at his home at 2121 Park Grove Ave., Monday. He leaves his widow, Cecelia; four sons, Edgar, Frank, Charles and Edmond; three daughters, Alice Iberg, Helen Iberg and Rosalia Atkins, and one brother, Jess Lorenzen.

Christian P. Jochimsen, 80, a former Sioux Cityan who was closely associated here for 25 years with business and civic activities died Tuesday in Los Angeles.
He was active in the establishment of Cecelia Park, so named by Morningside residents to honor his wife, Cecelia, who is among the survivors. They had been married 59 years.
Other survivors are four sons, Edgar, Frank, Charles and Edmond; three daughters, Mrs. Alice and Mrs. Helen Iberg and Mrs. Rosalie Atkins, four grandsons, six granddaughters; two great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter, all in southern California; a half brother, Jess Lorenzen; a nephew, Jes P. Lorenzen and a niece, Christine Winkler, all of Sioux City.
