pub in the Ft. Worth, TX, Star-Telegram on Friday Sep 12, 1958 - MRS THURSA ORFIELD - BRANDON, Sep 11th - Mrs Thursa Orfield, 79, of Brandon, died Thursday morning in a Hillsboro hospital. She was a native of Virginia and had lived here 40yrs. Survivors include 7 daughters, Mrs B.W. Conaway of Hillsboro, Mrs E.D. Greenhill of Shamrock, Mrs Malcolm Curtis of Bynum, Mrs Lloyd Prater of Midland, Mrs L.E. McBrearty and Mrs. J.W. Bonner both of Dallas, and Miss Mamie Orfield of Brandon; and 2 sons, C.D. Orfield of Hillsboro and Earl Orfield of Dallas. Funeral services will be on Friday in Marshall & Marshall Chapel at Hillsboro with burial at Ridge Park Cemetery.
