The fifth child of Samuel, Sr. & Nancy (Bennett) Nay, she married Reuben Nay, her first cousin on March 10, 1817 in Oldham Co., KY. They moved to Indiana around 1834.
The children of Reuben & Polly Nay were Mary b. 1818, John Calvin b. 1821, MARTHA b. 1823, John Samuel b. 1833, Frances Jane b. 1834, Ballard b. 1835, Elizabeth & Parthena b. 1837, Sarah Ann b. 1842 and Louisa C. Nay b. 1843. The remaining two children, Margaret E. b. 1846 & Rolland T. b. 1850, had to be born to Reuben & his second wife, Mary "Polly" Parkurst Nay since Mary "Polly" (Nay) Nay died in 1845.
