She was born Nov. 1, 1922, in St. Francisville, the daughter of Frank and Ellen Harding Armstrong. She formerly worked in the laundry department for the Bridgeport Nursing Home. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 947, St. Francisville.
She was married to Bernard Yarber and he preceded her in death. A son, Jim Campbell is also deceased.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Hamilton, and Betty and Bill Newlin, all of St. Francisville; seven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 28, at Cunningham-Nichols Funeral Home, St. Francisville, with the Rev. Irwin Bales officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, St. Francisville.
