Dortha passed away Wednesday at South Barry County Hospital after a long illness,
Dortha received a bachelor's degree in education from SW MO State University. She was a charter member of Kappa Delta Phi, Delta Kappa Gamma, a 30-year member of the MO State Teacher's Association plus a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher.
On 26 Dec 1948 Dortha & Leonard were married. To this union 6 children were born: Lynna, David, Richard, Timothy, Steven, & Sarah. Additional survivors include brothers Arthur & Lewis, 8 grandkids, many cousins, nieces, nephews, plus a host of other relatives & friends.
Dortha will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
