A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, and her husband of 62 years, retired MSG William T. Buckner. She leaves behind to cherish her memories daughters Linda F. Buckner Chisholm, Brenda K. Buckner Prince, sons Thomas E. Buckner and wife Paula and David L. Buckner and wife Denise. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Todd, Michael, Christy, Alison, Jason, Erik, Victoria, Shawn, Katrina and Billy, along with 10 great grandchildren, Austin, Kristl, Caiden, Kylan, Ashlynn, Blake, Ashley, T.J., Logan and Katelyn. She is a true American Hero for her work and dedication on the "Manhattan Project" to help put an end to World War II and will forever be remembered for her devotion and love of life to her husband , children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May she rest in peace knowing she is loved by all.
